JD Yates Takes Centerstage on the Uncut & Real Raw Podcast

In the newest episode of the Uncut & Real Raw podcast, Clinton sits down to visit with legendary cowboy JD Yates. JD is a 21-time National Finals Rodeo qualifier and has earned over $1.6 million with the PRCA. Thirteen of the times he earned a trip to the NFR, JD competed with his father, Dick Yates.

JD eventually transitioned from rodeoing to campaigning performance horses. He’s won 34 American Quarter Horse Association World Championships, and five AQHA Superhorse titles with Smokin Okie, Popular Resort Figure, RS Lilly Starlight, Chex This Dually, and BFR Igniting Sparks.

Nowadays, JD continues to train, compete and rodeo with his family in Pueblo, Colorado out the family run Hitch Rack Performance Horses. Throughout the episode, he shares the ins and outs of his legendary career, what it’s like rodeoing with family, and tales of being a high-stakes competitor.
