We’re looking for demo horses for the training sessions taking place at the Walkabout Tour being held at the National Western Complex July 29th and 30th.

Training Demonstrations:

Colt Starting
Working with a horse that has never been saddled before, Clinton shares the steps he takes to ensure a safe, first start for a horse. The two-part demonstration focuses heavily on groundwork preparation and giving the horse a solid foundation before getting in the saddle.

Problem Trailer Loading
At one point in their life, every horseman comes across a horse that refuses to get anywhere near the trailer. Working with a horse that has a longstanding history of trailer-loading troubles, Clinton shares his step-by-step approach to building a horse’s confidence to willingly get in the trailer.

Gaining Control on the Ground and Riding With Confidence
Two horses that have various issues on the ground and under saddle take center stage during two separate demonstrations. While Professional Clinicians ride the horses, Clinton directs them through a series of exercises to help the horse’s overcome their specific issues.
