Colt Starting Demo and Auction at the Ranch This Weekend

1002_01

This Saturday, an event like no other is taking place at the ranch in Stephenville, Texas. Clinton is putting on a free colt starting demonstration to the public that will be followed by a live auction.

The gates to the ranch will open at 7 a.m., and the colt starting demonstration will begin at 8 a.m. Throughout the demonstration, Clinton will explain how he introduces a saddle to a horse and the approach he takes to ensure a colt’s first ride is safe for human and horse.

The live auction will get underway around noon. Some of the items available in the auction will include farm machinery, Behlen roundpens, home and office furniture, kitchen utensils, new and used horse blankets, used saddles, and a variety of new and used horse training equipment and tools.

Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs as seating will not be provided. Concession stands and complimentary drinks for bidders will be available throughout the day.

We will not be producing a catalog for the auction, and the auction will only take place at the ranch. Online bidding will not be available.

If you’ve never been to the Downunder Horsemanship Ranch, here’s your chance to get a look at the facility and spend a morning with Clinton learning how to safely start a colt.
