With less than two months to go before the 2016 Road to the Horse, Clinton is brushing up on his colt-starting skills. This year’s event will mark the fifth time Clinton has joined the competition, and he’s looking forward to working alongside Richard Winters and Nick Dowers — two outstanding horsemen.

“Richard Winters is an absolute class act and a phenomenal horseman and competitor. He’s a great colt starter and an excellent clinician. I’ll tell you what, when I’m not working with my horse in the roundpen, I’ll be watching him to see if I can pick up a few tips. I’m proud to be going into the ring with him. Nick Dowers is also an extremely talented horseman and a standout cow horse trainer. I don’t know him personally, but I have heard many great things about him. I think the 2016 Road to the Horse is going to be an excellent event with great horsemanship and it’s going to be fun and educational for the crowd. I’m excited about being around these two outstanding horsemen and being a part of the event. I don’t know about all of you, but I can hardly wait for March to get here!” Clinton says.
