Seven Weeks of Horsemanship

0419_02

Imagine spending seven weeks focusing on nothing but bettering your horsemanship as you train two horses through the Fundamentals level of the Method. For horsemen enrolled in the Clinician Academy, it’s a reality. Throughout the program, students receive instruction from Professional Clinician Kristin Hamacher five days a week. Each of the 10 students brings one horse to the daily training sessions and then works their second horse on their own before or after class. The group training sessions offer hands-on help from Kristin to troubleshoot problems as well as refine communication techniques.

The seven-week program is intended for horsemen who wish to pursue a career in the horse industry as well as for those wanting in-depth horsemanship instruction. The daily lessons in the Academy delve much deeper into the Method and more advanced training techniques than a typical horsemanship clinic offers.

A limited number of participation spots are available in the fall course that takes place October 25th through December 9th. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis. Visit the Downunder Horsemanship website to get all the details about the Academy as well as to download the application.
