Shaking Off the “That’s Good Enough” Mindset

“I’d like to let Clinton know that I recently had a private lesson in northern California with [Method Ambassador] Shelbi McNeil. She was so professional and capable that I’ve been recommending her and singing her praises to everyone I know in and out of the horse world!

Shelbi was poised, confident, personable, talented and fun to be with. She took my rescue mustang and really sharpened up my Fundamentals so that I can see how to get a consistent B+ from her in her groundwork exercises. Then, under saddle, we worked on a persistent problem, and Shelbi talked me through my trouble until my mare was understanding what I needed her to do. My poor mare has never had to work so hard and think so much! Shelbi got me out of my mindset of “that’s good enough” to “get it done, now!” The horse and I are so much happier with our relationship now.

Thank you, Clinton, for the Ambassador program. It is an affordable way for people like me to hire super horse trainers in my area and take the Method to the next level. And thank you for Shelbi McNeil, my new horse goddess.” – Travis Silcox
